Pricing by gut feeling is how a full detail ends up at $80. This calculator prices each job from your real numbers: how long it takes, what the products cost, how far you drive and what you want to earn per hour. Pick the service and the vehicle size, add any extras like pet hair or sand, and you get a price you can say without flinching. Then copy it as a sedan, SUV and truck price list for your site or your DMs. It’s free, it works on your phone, and you don’t need an email to use it.
Price = (hours × your hourly goal) + product cost + drive cost, rounded to the nearest $5. Hours scale with the service you picked and the vehicle size, because a truck takes longer than a sedan at the same service. Drive cost counts both ways at your hourly goal. Add-ons add time, not a flat fee, because that is what they actually cost you.
The Copy button puts a clean sedan / SUV / truck list on your clipboard, ready to paste into your site, your Google profile or a DM. Send the same numbers every time and the “how much?” conversation stops.
Pet hair, sand, bugs and stains all take real extra time. Price them as add-ons the customer picks while booking, with a before-and-after photo. You get paid for the time, they know the total up front, and nobody argues in the driveway.
We will publish real local ranges for Los Angeles, Dallas–Fort Worth, Tampa Bay and Orlando once we have collected them from detailers’ own public price lists, with the collection date and method printed underneath. Until then the box says so rather than guessing.

Work it out from your own numbers, not a competitor’s. Multiply your hours by the hourly amount you want to earn, add product cost and your drive, then round. Price trucks and SUVs higher because they take longer. The calculator does this math for each vehicle size in seconds.
If you drive more than about 15–20 minutes to a job, a travel fee or a zone price protects your profit. Show it on your booking page so customers see it before they book. A fee they agreed to never costs you a review; a surprise fee at the door can.
Review them at least once a year and any time you’re booked out for weeks. If you’re always full, your price is likely too low. Raise prices for new customers first, give regulars notice, and keep members on their plan price as a thank-you.
